Focus 2019 - A Season of Reward

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. (Galatians 6:9-10)

The Apostle Paul tells us in these verses that doing good is like sowing seed. If we persevere in sowing, then 'in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart.'

Paul knew the reality of true and active Christian service which is tiring, demanding work, but it also produces a great reward in due season. Over the past 10 years we have "sown well" and this is the season of reaping our reward, but we must keep doing those things that have brought us to this point.

Our continued Kingdom success is predicated on these "three keeps":

  1. Keep Christ first and in the center of all that we do
  2. Keep prayer as a personal priority
  3. Keep each other accountable in purpose and mission
