Terry Henderson is the founder and pastor of Unity Christian Church International in Fayetteville, North Carolina. During his years in ministry, Pastor Henderson has developed a passion for leading others to Christ and making disciples through Christian education and practical Kingdom experience. He is a dynamic teacher and expositor of the Word of God and believes that “preaching of the Gospel should contain teaching, and teaching should contain the preaching of the Gospel.” Unity Christian Church International began with just a few committed families but is now a thriving church serving the local community and actively reaching the unchurched.
Pastor Henderson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from National Louis University and the Master of Divinity degree from Campbell University Divinity School, North Carolina. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors of Campbell University Divinity School. Also, Pastor Henderson is very active in our community and serves with both Racial Reconciliation Ministry Team and Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina. Pastor Henderson retired from the United States Army after 23 years of loyal service. During his service, he traveled extensively, while providing security protection to such dignitaries as Colin Powell, Norman Schwarzkopf, and Dick Cheney. He has served in various positions within the U.S. Army Special Operations community. Pastor Henderson’s final position in the Army was as the Special Agent in Charge (CID) at the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment - Delta. Upon retirement, he began serving full time in ministry.
